Born in Lagos and based in London, Mowalola Ognunlesi founded the eponymous young brand in a punk marriage of music, politics and visions of new futures. After graduating from Central Saint Martins, the British-Nigerian designer took her first steps in the fashion world working for Grace Wales Bonner and dressed celebrities such as Naomi Campbell, Solange and Skepta. Mowalola's style is strongly influenced by his passion for music, a pictorial sensibility for color and a taste for photography.
