10 Corso Como opened the first pop-up store of PLEATS PLEASE ISSEY MIYAKE’s in Milan. On the occasion of the launch of the “Azure Colors” special series, from September 10 to October 11, 2026, the brand will take over a dedicated space hosted at 10 Corso Como.

Presenting an immersive installation inspired by the ever-changing colors of the sky,  the space offers visitors a new opportunity to engage with the distinctive world of PLEATS PLEASE ISSEY MIYAKE, where innovative pleating techniques, freedom of movement, and a vibrant approach to color come together in garments designed for contemporary everyday life.

Conceived as an immersive environment, the pop-up draws inspiration from the sky and its constant transformations. Shades of blue, a sense of lightness, and the gentle movement of clouds are translated into a three-dimensional installation, creating a space that seems to float between color, light, and air.

AZURE COLORS
It’s a special series developed in six shades of blue. Inspired by the subtle shifts of the sky and clouds, the series ranges from the softest tones of pale blue to the intensity of sky blue, deep blue, and navy.

The chromatic gradation unfolds across a selection of tops, dresses, skirts, trousers, and stoles.

As the pleats fill with air and respond to the movement of the body, the garments evoke the serene, ever-changing nature of a constantly transforming sky. 
Defined by essential silhouettes and an almost weightless lightness, the pieces can be worn individually or combined across different shades, creating personal and playful color compositions.

Through the dialogue between the collection and the spatial installation, the Milan pop-up invites visitors to discover the color, movement, and lightness that lie at the heart of PLEATS PLEASE ISSEY MIYAKE.
