The Bonaveri pop-up celebrates the new Bonaveri Décor brand

Bonaveri presents Bonaveri Décor, a new brand of collectibles designed for the world of interior and décor, marking the company's entry into the Design world. The new brand debuts with a first collection of ten sculptural elements and as many architectural pedestals: The 10 Collection, curated by Emma Davidge, is presented in a temporary store at the 10 Corso Como Pop-up, from October 27 to 30. Bonaveri Décor began as a journey through the Bonaveri archives, where each element recalls an era, each piece has its own language, a universe of inspirations, techniques, and materials. The project—the result of the work of Tommaso and Andrea Bonaveri, with the artistic collaboration of Emma Davidge—was created with the intention of exploring the world of decorative objects through a curatorial, conceptual, and sculptural perspective. This approach is characterized by research into materials and techniques: at the service of an aesthetic that combines surrealism, classicism, and irony. The 10 Collection offers objects inspired by human anatomy—heads, hands, torsos, busts reinterpreted in conceptual, stylized, or abstract forms. These are highly crafted works to be collected and cherished. All pieces are the result of a process that combines sculptural modeling and artisanal manufacturing. They are not unique works, but each element retains the character and intensity of an art object: collectible forms, created to inhabit spaces with personality and expressive power.

It highlights not only the artistry of traditional techniques but also the innovation that’s driving a more transparent and inclusive fashion system. The show also features the work of five African designers that have been selected by EFI to create a unique look – a collaboration rooted in local materials and made using traditional methods such as hand weaving and plant-based dyeing: Sean Nobayo (Benin), Gaïnga (Burkina Faso), Olooh (Côte d’Ivoire), Numu D (Mali), Feelinger (Chad).Hosted on September 26, the two talks bring together designers, experts and industry leaders to discuss pressing issues and emerging ideas in fashion today.11:00 AM TOWARDS SUSTAINABLE FASHION: Chemicals, Impact & SolutionsHosted with the UN Alliance for Sustainable Fashion, the discussion dives into the role of innovation and regulation in phasing out harmful chemicals from the textile industry - from production to post-consumer waste. Organized by EFI, UNECE, FAO, UNEP, WIPO, BRS, UNCCD, and ILO. 3:00 PM BEYOND THE RUNWAY: Building Global Pathways for African CreativesModerated by Teneshia Carr of Blanc Magazine, this conversation explores the future of African fashion through the lens of visibility, ownership, and cultural storytelling. Ethical Fashion InitiativeEFI - a programme of the International Trade Centre - has been working in the cotton value chain in West Africa since 2012. Via its local partner CABES GIE based in Burkina Faso, EFI’s efforts now support more than 4,000 artisans in the region – helping them strengthen their businesses, improve production, and access markets that value sustainability and heritage. This work has been supported by EFI’s long-term partners, including the European Union through its OACPS Business Friendly Programme as well as SECO.

Gentle Monster’s Milan store - within the iconic 10 Corso Como - unveils a new centerpiece that invites visitors into a transformed sensory experience. The new GIANT HEAD KINETIC OBJECT embodies the brand’s singular philosophy and fascination with the inner workings of the human mind. Built in-house by the Gentle Monster Robotics Lab, the GIANT HEAD KINETIC OBJECT consists of three distinct faces. At the center is a face that gently shuts its eyes and shakes its head in contemplation, flanked by a larger face and a smaller one that move fluidly around it. With softly blinking eyelids and subtly shifting pupils, the piece captures the complexity of cognition, emotion, and human connection. Other elements, such as star-like forms scattered throughout the store, illuminate the invisible landscapes of the human psyche. Gentle Monster's universe unfolds as a spatial narrative that expresses the brand’s singular vision, where minimalist elegance meets avant-garde innovation.

10 Corso Como presents Da un’altra parte (“Elsewhere”), a solo exhibition by Guido Guidi, curated by Alessandro Rabottini and staged at 10 Corso Como Gallery from 7 May through 27 July 2025. Conceived as a wide-ranging showcase for his photographic work, the exhibition concentrates on the theme of the shadow, interpreted as the result of the encounter between light, space, and time – i.e., between three of the main coordinates of Guidi’s practice. Guido Guidi (Cesena, 1941) is an internationally acclaimed photographer, renowned for the contribution he has made to the field of photography since the 1960s and celebrated for his personal way of looking at the landscape, architecture, and things, which is at once lyrical and analytical. His images are a distilled reflection on the most quotidian, marginal, and anti-monumental spaces that we inhabit, a tactile exploration of the forms that surround us and which we often neglect, rendered as if frozen in time. Over the decades, Guidi has affirmed the necessity for a “poetics of attention.” In his works, the very act of seeing is never taken for granted; on the contrary, it is analyzed from numerous perspectives, encompassing everything from its existential aspects right through to its formal and theoretical repercussions. Thanks to the consistency with which he has always scrutinized the most liminal aspects of reality, Guidi has also influenced generations of photographers, creating a visual idiom that is as subtle as it has been seminal. Curated by Alessandro Rabottini, Da un’altra parte compiles a wide selection of photographs taken between the early 1970s and 2023, in an exhibition that focuses on the persistence and recurrence of certain themes across the decades. Although Guidi conceives, publishes, and shows his work through the format of the photographic series. The works are placed in dialogue with each other, according to a principle of poetic and formal tension, over and above the chronological sequence and any separation between the genres of portraiture, still life, and architectural photography.
