Steve Stokey Delay, young english designer founder of the promising brand S.S. Delay, revisits the style of the British elitist classes through the working class point of view and through the lens of "homosociality", being inspired by pictorial, theatrical and cinematographic works, such as the classics Maurice and Brideshead Revisited. The collection presents timeless British motifs, such as Argyle, mixed with "easter egg", veiled messages that refer to the world view of the designer. One of those crypic communications is the Rabbit intarsia, a reference to the word with which the writers Sackville West and Trefusis called their secret sapphic relationship, a topic put in place during the S.S. Delay SS23 show.
