10 Corso Como announces The Waves, an exhibition project that highlights the stories of five of the most radical and talented brands and young designers on the international scene. A single, fluid installation hosted in 10 Corso Como Gallery from 2 to 30 March. Renewing its vocation for research into fashion and new imagery, 10 Corso Como has selected ALL-IN, Duran Lantink, Hodakova, Vaquera, zomer as the most innovative voices on the international creative scene. Taking its title from Virginia Woolf’s most mysterious novel, The Waves evokes the perpetual motion par excellence - that of the waves - as a metaphor for pure time, a circular present. The route, in linear mode, exalts the most significant creations of each brand - including a number of custom-made pieces - evoking the novel’s monologue structure: different languages and sensibilities, united by a new idea of tailoring, with rich, experimental, expressionist forms, inspired by the confrontation with themes such as sustainability, reuse, relationship with nature, gender identity, materiality. Practices such as reuse and upcycling, seem to be a part of a contemporary lexicon, become quotations, in a post-production aesthetic that rediscovers the forms of high craftsmanship, reconnecting past and future, in a dense and vibrant present. 10 Corso Como announces the partnership with Olfactory Signals 01, the first olfactory salon that explores the power of fragrance as an artistic medium and sensory experience. Conceived by System Preferences and part of the Fuori Esxence programme, Olfactory Signals 01 is designed to journey through the discovery of fragrance as an artistic language and tool for sensory storytelling. The project is part of a broader research movement that challenges the conventional perception of fragrance, removing it from commercial frameworks and placing it in a creative context. Through installations, interactions, and collaborations with artists and designers, Olfactory Signals 01 offers an immersive experience that explores new connections between smell, memory, and emotion. The event is open to the public and industry professionals upon registration EXHIBITION AREAS The event will take place on the first floor of 10·Corso·Como, in the newly redesigned spaces, conceived as dynamic places with a shifting identity, to offer a flexible platform capable of supporting the convergence of different arts. GALLERY In the Gallery, the immersive installation IGGSBT by Illya Goldman Gubin and Sissel Tolaas sits as the artistic heart and soul of Olfactory Signals 01. The project is a tribute to memory, challenging the dominance of visual stimuli in our world. While the image captures and forms a moment, smell brings it back to life in an instant and often visceral way. The aim is to expand the brand's awareness through activations that convey the distinctive appeal and values of an iconic brand. The new 10 Corso Como space presents exclusive fashion brands specifically selected for the new venture, together with the compelling and globetrotting 10 Corso Como Signature collection. The iconic 10 Corso Como logo continues to travel and take over new cities. Various product categories - ready-to-wear, shoes and bags to sporting goods, travel accessories, sunglasses and watches - interpret the brand's iconic motif in a limitless combination of versions, celebrating the spirit and symbolism of the unique and recognizable 10 Corso Como iconic motif. Starting from 2024, 10 Corso Como is expanding its network with new addresses in addition to the two stores already opened in Seoul and, of course, the extensive ecosystem present in Milan. Each team worked on internal brand development, distribution channels, product assortments, and a communication strategy that reflects local market needs and preferences. Since its foundation in 1991, 10 Corso Como has been promoting creativity, bringing together culture and the latest trends, in particular by promoting projects aimed at supporting young talent and innovation in fashion. Over the years, 10 Corso Como’s unique approach to retail attracted many institutions and universities from all over the world to study the key success factors of the brand, analyzing the phenomenon with case studies, research and collaborations aimed at training the new generation of creatives and industry key figures. The collaboration represents an important opportunity for students to prove their ideas by engaging in an iconic brand, at a time of significant growth. 10 Corso Como invests in its role as an established brand and aims to continue its international development plan.
