Enfants Riches Déprimés, a luxury fashion brand also known by its acronym ERD, was born between Paris and Los Angeles in late 2012, founded by the eclectic artist Henri Alexander Levy. The brand’s aesthetic is the result of the encounter between the French punk of the 70s and the Japanese avant-garde movement of the 80s. The focal point of the Maison is exclusivity: the pieces are produced in extremely limited quantities and many of them are also one-of-a-kind. Indeed, the exclusivity of ERD is also expressed through the decorating techniques carried out on the garments: the prints with a lived-in effect date back to archive sketches by the founder himself and the vintage leather jackets are embellished with handmade workmanship made in his Los Angeles studio. This is why wearing an ERD garment is a special and unique case, never trivial nor obvious.
