JASPER bag

From the encounter between 10 Corso Como and the talents of Central Saint Martins comes JASPER.

JASPER, the new 10 Corso Como bag, makes its debut in a limited edition, available exclusively at the Milan store and through the official e-commerce.

The design is based on the concept created by Swedish designer Petra Fagerstrom, developed as part of A Signature for the Logo Collection (2024), a project promoted by 10 Corso Como in collaboration with Central Saint Martins – University of the Arts London, with the aim of supporting a new generation of international fashion talent.

The initiative involved forty designers from the MA Fashion course, who were invited to reinterpret the identity, visual codes and iconic pattern of 10 Corso Como through the creation of an accessory. Petra Fagerstrom’s project was selected as one of six finalists by Tiziana Fausti, President of 10 Corso Como, together with an international jury comprising Alexander Fury, Serena Tibaldi, Jordan Bowen and Luca Marchetto.

Building on the winning concept, 10 Corso Como developed and industrialised its own interpretation of the designer’s academic project, preserving its distinctive elements, including the eyelets and rivets applied to the crinkled nylon. The result is a graphic, contemporary bag, designed for everyday use and travel, that combines functionality and versatility. JASPER features two distinct elements: an outer body and a removable inner pouch, secured by a concealed zip and designed to be used separately as well. The handle offers two configurations: it can be carried as a double handle or converted into a single handle using a system of side loops.

“For us, this collaboration is an open dialogue between the identity of 10 Corso Como and the creative vision of Central Saint Martins. It is an invitation to explore new aesthetic frontiers, where art, fashion, and culture come together to shape the future. An encounter between experience and new generations, capable of bringing unexpected ideas and new forms of expression to the forefront” says Tiziana Fausti.

The name Jasper is inspired by Jasper Johns, the American artist and one of the leading exponents of Neo-Dada, and in particular by his painting Target with Four Faces (1955). In this work, the target becomes an instantly identifiable image that induces sight, concentration and the very act of looking. Through its immediacy and recognizability, the graphic strength of the target also echoes the distinctive mark of the 10 Corso Como logo.
