Purple Magic Issue Premiere at 10 Corso Como
On the occasion of Milan Fashion Week, on Friday 20 September, 10 Corso Como Project Room hosted the premiere of Purple's Magic issue.
Thanks to Olivier Zahm for choosing 10 Corso Como for the exclusive launch of Purple#42 in Milan and for introducing the new issue's themes with a reflection on the meaning of magic in the contemporary world, as an alternative way of reading reality.
From the re-edition of a famous essay by Foucault from ‘66, to the psychoanalytic illustrations of Jung, to the contributions of Patti Smith, David Lynch, Björk and the occultist Mitch Horowitz, Purple#42 explores the potential of the magical in our times.
The launch was marked by a projection of Jacques Rivette's cult film ‘Celine and July go boating’ (1974), starring Juliet Bert and Dominique Labourier.
